Sellars, Husserl e l'immagine quantistica della natura

Abstract

L'obiettivo di questo articolo è valutare se la nozione di “mondo della vita” possa essere utile per una teoria filosofica che assegna un primato alla visione scientifica del mondo, quando si tratta di stabilire ciò che esiste. Mi propongo di integrare il concetto di “mondo della vita” come inteso nella tarda fenomenologia di Husserl con il punto di vista difeso da Sellars in Filosofia e immagine scientifica dell'uomo nel mondo. In seguito, prenderò in considerazione l'immagine della natura proposta dalla versione standard  “Copenhagen” della fisica quantistica. Ciò mi consentirà di mettere in discussione gli assunti di Sellars secondo cui la realtà non può essere concepita come stratificata e che il termine “fenomeno” deve essere inteso come “apparenza illusoria” in un senso presumibilmente kantiano. Allo stesso tempo, discuterò la convinzione di Husserl che la “tecnicizzazione” della scienza comporti una perdita di significato filosofico dell'immagine scientifica del mondo.
